Time to have lunch! We were starving to die. After an hour kayaking, I guess we all have a dragon lies inside our stomach. And the food is stunning. We had crab and fish, one for every each person. Isn’t that great?
After a great lunch, we just relaxed in the Kubo Sa Dagat. Enjoying the summer breeze and the warmth of sun shine
We took the boat from Kubo Sa Dagat back to Busuanga Island, when we got to the island we had this small wooden bridge to be crossed to get the national road, our heart pounded so hard when we have to pass it through :)
This is the scenery that you will have when you step in Busuanga island, Busuanga Island is the place where Coron Town is located.
The view that we had from the terrace of the Malbato church.
On our way to the forest we made a stop at a church, it is a Catholic church that built 4 years ago. Though the building is new, the design is old. The built it in a rock-wall, instead of concrete-wall. In my opinion it is very artistic. There we made a picture with our new friends, Keng and her boyfriend. They are the one who taught us the word “sulit” :)
We spent the afternoon by trekking on the tropical forest of Kingfisher Biodiversity Park. Our destination is a fresh water river inside of the forest. And just like the name, the water of the river is truly fresh. So I took of my shoes, and jumped into the water. Nothing is more appropriate to be done on hot day than swim in the refreshing water.
Whenever I traveled, I always try to have a deep interaction with native people. One of my favorite is the interaction that I had with the kids, they always fascinates me. They always act genuine, and show what’s on their mind or what they feel exactly the way it is.
When we had a merienda in the sari-sari store in Malbato, there are a few children who are there, but apparently they are not familiar with foreigners. I told my guide to tell hem to pick snacks on the display, but they are so shy so they did not pick anything. So picked one snack that I think is the most tasteful one and I gave it to them. They took the sack from my hand and smiled. That was one of the best moment in my life, had a small smile from a little kids, just because you did something simple. Imagine if every people could do it with others
